I'm calling BS on this one. It was probably a caught and worn out fish the dude grabbed, then they edited in the jump from the helicopter.

because a boat with a dive camera could never follow a chopper to a fishing spot...

 

I'm still not buying the helicopter catch. It you've ever caught a marlin, you know they are lighting fast and have incredible eyesight. IMO, there is zero chance a guy could even touch a marlin by diving onto it, let alone bear hug one. And then there's the unlikely chance of having a camera in the perfect position to capture said catch.

 

ive seen the dude catch a 500 lb tuna from a kayak. I dont think he has the need to fake anything

Catching big fish out of small rafts is a whole different thing than jumping out of a helicopter and grabbing one. Sorry, but this guy is just fishing for clicks, and you're biting.

 

Meh, either way it's entertaining as hell. If I just shot holes in everything that I thought was fake I would probably never be entertained again

 

I'm entertained by actually catching big fish, not by watching fake YouTube videos. In fact, I'll be chasing big tarpon for the entire month of May. Can't wait.
