I will try and make this as easy as possible.

I am thinking of replacing the third brake light with one of those fancy ones that can hold baja designs s2, I want to use one s2 as the cargo light and plug into the factory harness so it will work with the factory switch.

I have no problems wiring it but my questions come to how will the s2 perform on the factory wiring.

The factory cargo light is (2) 921 halogen bulbs

from what I can find the 921 halogen is rated at 16.4w and draws 1.4 amps
    the s2 sport is 12.4w and 0.9amps

will the factory wiring "support" the s2?

Will it be over or under powered?

    It should be fine.
It draws less power than the OEM.
The cargo light fuse is a 7.5 amp.
