General Supercharger Thread

Stage 1 comes with a DW pump and slightly boosted pressure FPR, can't remember which pump, but I think it's listed on page 1. It's supporting my 80mm just fine tho.

 

It’s the 300C mentioned above, same as comes with the Whipple kit too.

 

Spent some money on it, collecting parts for a 8HP transmission swap.

So, in the process of dropping the original VB down, some valves are noted to drop...x2 specifically, the oil cooler dump valve and a plunger valve...I dropped both but found everything sans the oil cooler dump valve spring...wtf?! Well team- cylinder 7 has left the chat. Time for motor. On my way to do our planned trail run and she let go. Went to get on it shifted into 3rd and then after misfire blue smoke the whole deal. Limped it back to Boulder City and oil all over the leaf pack bumper etc.

Yep full throttle no data logging as we were just cruising to the meet up location.

Temps were totally normal also. Coolant 190, trans temps 180 ambient air 80

 

Damn that sucks @reywcms sorry it couldn’t hold up until after the trip. You definitely put that stock engine through the wringer over the years.

That’s usually how it goes. Every transmission I’ve blown everything was normal and I was just normal driving and then bam.

 

That really doesn’t sound like what I thought it would. Although it does sound laggy to respond to
