I been having my truck about 1 year and it seems every 2-3 months a headlight goes out. And coincidentally it's always the opposite one. I even replaced my headlights with new headlights to eliminate if moisture was causing it, but 2 months later another burnt headlight. It's getting ridiculous money wise, but also changing a bulb on a 2016 is unbelievable. Has anyone run into this issue? Any suggestions? Thanks

Are you putting OE or OE quality bulbs in?

What headlight bulbs are you using? Best suggestion? Stop wasting money on halogens and upgrade to the LED OEM headlights.

What kind of bulb are you using?
I used to have the same issue running Silverstar bulbs.
I tried some LEDs and never looked back. They probably scatter light a little in a truck with headlight reflectors designed for halogen bulbs but 9 of 10 cars these days are far worse than the scatter my truck produces. give some vleds a rip and problem solved.

I get a year to year and half on bulbs. Sylvania Silver Stars.. Tried NAPA ones, blew within 6 months. Warrantied them. They sent me 2 pairs...Have them as emergency backups..

A lot of bulbs require you to wear gloves to install, as the oils from your fingers will shorten the life of a bulb.

Our Sequoia kept burning out headlights. Turns out it was the socket that was burning them out. It looked browned and charred. I replaced that and problem was resolved.
