I might have the opposite situation today. Weather's nice and I haven't had a cigar with my dad in a couple of weeks. Might be a good day to sneak out at lunch and play hookie.

I wrongly assumed you were in a tundra. The coin holder in the tundra is located where the 4x4 knob would be...

All right folks the dumb guy needs some help here. I need to replace the bearing hub assemblies on my trailer. I figured this would be real easy to just pull my old hub then look at the bearings inside to verify the correct part number. But apparently my bearings are either not stamped or that bearing number has been worn off. I know I have a 2200 pound torsion axle on the trailer, and it's a 5 x 4 1/2" bolt pattern that I'm looking for. I've also measured the axle diameter and taken this information to the Google machine, but still can't verify I'm buying the correct part. I guess my other solution would be to just repack these hubs with new bearings instead of buying the whole new assembly, but I still have no idea if I'm buying the correct bearing . Any and all help would be appreciated.

oof... and I assume hitting up the sales sheet/manufacturer is not an option?

thank you for reminding me I need to contact both vendors for those details before I NEED to do so.

Looked at spec sheet from my trailer and also called the manufacturer. Got the message that because those parts are always in flux there is no way to verify the part. Most confusing part of this whole debacle is, that my hub assemblies are not like most. It is not held on with a castle nut and a cotter pin, but by a different means that I've never even seen. It's kinda like a weird little clip ring that holds the nut in place on top of the washer which holds the bearings in. It is an ez lube axel. Only have a photo of the axel itself right now. Can take pics of the hub later tonight when I'm back at home.
