I have a 23 tundra with the JBL system and am looking at adding a Audio Control LC 6.1200 amp with summing capabilities. I wanted to know if the 6x9's and tweeters in the front could be summed using the LC-6.1200 into a single full range signal for each side. I was also curious if the rears are a full range signal as well (hard to tell with the 6.5's not having a ton of bass to begin with).

If not, is there another option other than the taco tunes jarvis that is a more reasonable price?

From my research, look like you'd need a 12 channel amp to properly replace the JBL amp.

It still has to stay in the vehicle, but you'd power the speakers from the new amplifier.

Yeah that is where I am getting to as well. I have seen several people (including *********) who have left the dash speakers powered by the factory amp but powered the doors, a pillar tweeters, and sub with aftermarket. Unfortunately you can take the dash speakers out entirely due since they are what gives you prompts and such with the radio.

Does that converter recognize the volume control with the JBL? It appears it does, but I want to verify.
