Just picked up my 2018 and Toyota threw in the Final Coat rust module/electric box for me. I’m wondering if this is good enough to prevent rust long term? Anyone else have the Final Coat CM3000? Do new Tundras (cars in general) need rustproofing? I’ve heard that the metal that’s used now is already proofed

Color me dubious. People who buy it swear by it mostly because they want to feel good about their purchase. I know of no credible studies that have been done that prove their effectiveness.

The concept is borrowed from the marine world where it DOES work. That's because the bottom of a boat is in constant contact with the salt water. This "completes" the circuit between metal parts and a sacrificial anode. Your Tundra, not so much.
