Curious what you guys are getting for mpg nowadays. I don’t normally drive mine very far and get 10mpg around the forest/rural hilly areas (my FJ gets 16 in the same and 4Runner 17). Been doing some long round trips on 60mph freeways recently, got 12mpg which seems low but also “good” haha. (Was driving “normal” NPC speeds since I was moving trees in the bed).

I was getting 12ish over winter on the back country roads. As it’s been warming up I’m up closer to 14. Highway I can get 15-16 depending on speed. Start going much over 70 and the mpg tanks fast. Granted this is with my dialed in SG3, haven’t hand calculated in a bit. 35s, bed cap, stock gears, 6500-6600ish lbs. on the CAT scale.

I usually get 10-12mpg around town. If I'm on the hwy and in trip mode I can squeeze a 13.5-14mpg at 65-70mph. I haven't checked it yet since the 5.29 install.

That's why I wondered if it was wear resistant to ease up on the passages, hold line pressure. Looked way different than what IPT/level10 stock ones.

12.5 as always. But I’m either pure city or 70+ highway. Speed limits are 75-85mph around here.

10-11 pretty consistently, I'm stoked if I hit 12. But that's either driving through town, or cruise set at 90mph on the interstate. 35s, 5.29s, 3" lift.

Well the plate itself must be anodized or PVD coated at least, even if the material is not different.

Too early for me to tell since I just retuned and had lots of WOT runs. MPGs are slowly creeping back up when I don't drive like a total goon. I was shocked today on a City trip I hit as high as 14-15 on the trip. Highway best I've seen is 13.5 but my commute is very hilly and with speeds over 65 MPH. I think before I was getting 14.5 to 15 on mixed driving. SG3 has been reporting 4% lower than actual for me so I may need to reset.

@Silver17 what position is the VB line pressure set at. I couldn't see. I also forgot which is what, is it at the middle or back one from center. I ran with it always in high psi setting but was later told it would lead to premature failure. Just couldn't see it that well.

I’ll have to check that out more closely later. I didn’t think to look at it, but noticed it in the picture after I had already wrapped it back up in its 6’ roll of bubble wrap.

No problem. As best I can tell it looks to be set in the standard configuration.

Valvebody just showed up. Never got a shipping notification but it's here. Now to call a couple of shops to get it installed.

I would imagine they wanted to get them out the door from AUS before their, let’s call them, “import costs” went up 10%. Not here to talk politics, whatever your persuasion on the matter, just saying it’s probably relevant in this case and could be good for anyone still waiting for their VB.
