They came off a Tacoma originally and looks like they're originally chrome and have been plasti dipped. Ended up only paying $150 for the whole set. Don't know if I want to take off the current plastidip and re do it all together, or just throw them on as is. It's still a huge upgrade from my current ones even if I just threw them on in current condition.

Awesome, those should look great once the plastidip scrapes off. If you have plastic flat razors, or a nylon dish scraper, it should make easy work of that plastidip.

Nice, yeah I think I may as well remove and redo it while they're off and have the old tires that I won't use on them. I definitely want them black though

If they have a painted finish on them, I suggest a proper repaint, not a replastidip. A satin finish will look much better and the paint will probably be more durable

I'm not even entirely sure if it is plasti dip or paint. It has a texture to it so I assumed it was plastidip and not paint, also has a few small exposed parts of whatever the black finish is showing the chrome underneath

Those are ultra rare FJ Trail Teams in a color called "anthracite"

They also came in black, so I wonder why the idiot who owned em first plastidipped em instead of buying the black ones.

Clean em up. Let's see em on the rig.

Interesting, the seller said it came off a Tacoma and showed me a picture on his phone. But could easily have been moved around from truck to truck. Now im curious to see how it looks cleaned up, may just keep it that color if it looks clean when the dip is removed. Just got a bottle of goo-gone and plastic razors (and 24mm socket to do the my rear diff fluid today). Probably wont get to it today though.

    Didn’t see these on
I tried SO HARD to get a set of these, but every one I saw on marketplace was heavily corroded or overpriced.

How have these been holding up for you? I see a ton of reviews say they start rusting up in a few months or so

    Imma keep it stock
I would image that the rust is from the paint being knocked off by the technician/owner using cheap sockets for rotations. Mine are fine so far.

I initially wasn’t going to share but I didn’t see anyone else using these wheels here so:

    IMG_4131.jpg
    IMG_4124.jpg
Spotted these on marketplace for $100, sans tires. I honestly didn’t like the look of them until I cleaned them up and mounted tires, but now I’m sold. They’re from a 2005/06 Tacoma, but these were available up to 2015 I think. (PN: 42611-AD031) I am still looking for another to replace my steel spare, but worst case scenario I buy one new for ~$150 online.

Looks pretty good I think. They aren’t my favorite either, but I saw a set someone refinished in bronze with black center hub with an aggressive AT tire on it and thought it looked great.

I’m getting my truck repainted in either red or blue, and initially wanted to splurge on bronze wheels like these:

    https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...Tundra+Limited+4wd&autoYear=2002&autoModClar=

    or these:

    https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...Tundra+Limited+4wd&autoYear=2002&autoModClar=

but $250/wheel is a bit rich for my tastes at the moment LOL

If you’re getting your truck repainted, have them paint the wheels while they’re at it. Choose a color you like, that bronze is pretty dark, could choose a better one.

They’d be fine for a first gen. They’re the OE diameter/width. The offset is only 25mm - my taco wheels are 30mm and they fit just fine.

I could’ve afforded it, but I self imposed a 1k limit on myself for wheels + tires. The ATs were $800ish OTD including new lugs, and I only paid $100 for the wheels.
