The tires I currently have are 305/65-18 with a ReadyLift 1-3/4” leveling kit and the tires just look too small.

I’m going to either change them to 35” or 37” tires. I really want to install 37” tires and have the Westcott 3/1 kit with the TRD shocks in my garage waiting to install. I already upgraded to the silver front axles. I’m aware that trimming has to be done.

I would like your recommendations from those that have gone through this tire change…pros and cons on the tires.

    TIA

Lol,it sounds like you are already convinced on 37's.
IMOP don't go through the effort and money to toss on 35's when you know you'll regret it down the road.
It will look so much better with 37's on there.
BTW what mfg are you thinking of?

    Cheers!

Not sure which tire manufacturer since there seems to be so many variations in tire height. Probably Falcon Wildpeaks.

If you want quality and fairly quiet I would strongly recommend BFG KO2 they are great in all aspects of weather/terrain, but the con is they are always not true to size (if that matters).
Yokohama Geolanders MT G003 are very aggressive looking and loud, I have them now,not 37" but when these fade out I will jump to BFG, at the time they didn't have my size in 22".

Those are the ones I'm looking at as well. I've had them before and they were great!!
    Mine will be 305/55R20s though.
Won't you have rubbing issues with 37s? I hope not as I love big tires but I'm just thinking you're gonna rub. Either way, keep us posted and pics of course!!

Yes. I will have to do some trimming and there's a piece of metal held by two 12mm bolts that have to be removed. I'll also have to trim the front air dam if I go 37's.

Not yet. I'm waiting to read about owners that went that route.

I did bfg ko2s 35s (~34 in) and am now on wildpeaks at4 37s (true 37). The 37s are heavy and big. You will need to address: sway bar rub, cut out the metal horn in both front wheel wells, pin back the liners, I had to trim a bit of the fender, your speedometer will be off (about 6mph at 65), acceleration loss is minimal but there, breaking distance increased.
Having said that, I will not go back to 35s.20230515_131155.jpg 20240825_160410.jpg

What did you do about the sway bar rub? I read that changing to the TRD Pro sway bar fixes the problem.

I took it off at first. The chain wear channels in the road were WAY too much at 70mph. I could get used to it, but would never feel comfortable letting my wife drive it set up that way.
Ended up with a 1 inch spacer. Wider stance and more poke creates it's own set of problems (fender trim, mud sling, legality).
I've read the TRD bar has more clearance but haven't sprung for it.
    Pick your poison

Are the wheels 17 or 18 inches? Also what width on the AT4’s? Thanks in advance.

I had stock 18 inch wheels with 35x12.5 bfg ko2. Used a one inch spacer to get off the sway bar.

Nomad 17 inch wheel (+25mm offset) with 37x12.5 r17 wildpeak at4 and had sway bar rub before full steering lock. Put the spacer back on, so close to 0 offset. I can deal with the poke more than dealing with loss of turning radius.20241105_112405.jpg

Do you think a +18 offset would have helped better than the +25 with the rubbing of the swaybar and eliminate the use of a spacer?

Not sure if it's enough. Seems like some folks are good with the TRD sway bar, and some reporting it doesn't need drop brackets with lift
