Bold #1: I had to do this with dealing with emails when working. I ended up with a rule that I would generate email, let it sit as a draft for 24hrs minimum, re-read it, then send it if still appropriate. This transitioned to having a trusted peer read almost every freakin' email prior to sending it, and 9 out of 10 were simply deleted and the 1 that did get sent had some serious tweaks by my proof reader
