I have a 2024 Tundra Limited Crewmax and saw these at the dealership the other day. The service guy said they might not fit the Limited package but everything I see online shows that they will fit. Is he full of BS?

These look like they say double cab. Probably will not fit your crew max.

Yes they will fit. The D-cab is the crew cab. That's a hell of a deal.

The "package" the truck has is irrelevant.

Tundra has a double cab option, and a crewmax option. Crew cab is a word carried over from the big three. And it likely means crew max, which isn't a dbl cab.

OP, I'd check the fitment guidelines in the predator part listing to verify fitment for your crewmax.

edit: when looking at the part on Toyota website, it doesn't state which cab configuration it fits. Toyota parts websites however, allow one to put their vin in to verify fitment. On a side note, extreme terrain sells this Toyota part and it specifically says that it will only fit double cab's. Probably why it's on sale with no hardware. Someone didn't listen, tried to install on crewmax, and had to take it back once they FAAFO.

These are the correct steps for the crewmax as I stated. I just purchased this same part number and installed on my truck.

Don't trust the Toyota website / parts configurator when pulling up part numbers for fitment.
I plugged the number in and entered my truck (Crew Cab / Crew Max) and it said they would fit.

The description has D-Cab in it and when plug in your truck info, cab length is NOT one of the criteria.
The pic that's shown is also clearly that of a Double Cab, not a Crew Cab / Crew Max.

I see @lapoolboy has had first hand experience with this part number, but I'm seeing conflicting info.

Tried 3 different websites, Sparks, BAM Wholesale and another Toyota dealer, some asked for cab configuration, some did not. Some said it would fit, some did not.
    No rhyme nor reason.

Well that's different than calling a crewmax a crew cab. However, with your firsthand experience I'd say you're right. And I'm wrong.

Yep. I ordered the Predator steps from the dealer....they came in too short....turns out they were for the double cab and the new steps they ordered had this same part number and "D-cab" descriptor. Buy with confidence. Crew max = crew cab in the Toyota world.

    Simple definitive solution for OP:
Step one: Ignore part number and everything said in this thread.
    Step two: Tape measure.

I guess I'm that guy, but crew cab isn't a Toyota world word. So for sake of not confusing anyone there isn't such a thing.

I'll start with saying I was trying to help you not confuse yourself. So which is it? Anything can be called a crew cab right. My kids sequoia has four doors so maybe I'll start calling it the crew cab. I guess in today's world it's not surprising that we can just make it up and call it what we want so nobody knows what's going on. Until they read your pronouns that is. Then they would know for sure. So, double max it is.

My truck identifies as: Super Crew Duty Max XL stumpy bed.

    I'm considering therapy.

**EDIT BELOW** I accidentally linked to the 2018 version - so the below parts are not correct

It is interesting that they have a double cab & crew max version, if they are the same:

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-par...ZeIFK82Uo_VvUG2poBvtxtY7dnFWj7Dxu92KkPKpfv93a

    https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-par...keUrAhABcxPnf86ZXcQBkRXW_g-GzVVSIHCOx4qgnx9-X

    Part PT925-34220 vs PT925-34180

I suspect that either they both fit the crew max, but the double cab is a bit short or you received mislabeled parts.

PN is correct for Crew max. Purchased the bolts too but my 25 came already came with the hardware.

Yikes, you are right - I don't know how I missed that - then seems like they may have indeed consolidated the double & crew perhaps
