Power Up Tailgate

Curios, can the power up tailgate option be added to a 2024 limited? I love the auto down feature and not sure why toyota didnt add the auto option all together

 

Can we trade tailgates?

No. It often doesn't work. And when it does it's slow and noisy. I wish it was just an auto release

 

I want to add the the power up/down tailgate option on my 2022 Tundra Platinum. Can it be done with all factory parts and harness?

 

I added the tailgate bump myself so id be curious about this too

 

I’d add it if I could as well. Doubtful though.

Mine hasn't ever failed to work, but I hate that I can't just lift my tailgate.

 

One of my favorite features. The more I use it the better I like it.

 

One of my favorite sounds is the tailgate closing after a good push to close. My Tundras actually has probably the most satisfying sound and feel. Very solid. My previous Ram was close. The previous two Chevy's not as much.

The older I get the more I appreciate the simple joys of a truck doing truck things in a truck manner.
