Ford Responds to Trump Tariffs with Employee Pricing for All Americans
    • The Ford vehicles not included in the program are the 2025 Expedition, the Super Duty trucks, and all Raptor family vehicles, as is the Bronco Stroppe Edition; specialty Mustang models such as the Dark Horse and GTD are also excluded.

I absolutely love my Tundra and it isn't going anywhere...

I doubt Ill purchase by 6/2 but I have been considering a Maverick to replace my DD when it dies: 2014 535D

They must sell bazillions of Mavericks and Bronco Sports. Because 9 out 10 autorack rail cars I peek in at work are those. Coming from Mexico, of course.

I think the Mavericks are adorable, love the mini truck aesthetic. One of the few modern vehicles I'd actually consider. The wife thinks they're absolutely retarded.

I think my wife would divorce me if I bought a Ford...:eek2:

I've only bought one in my lifetime, and it was a POS..
Well, maybe not a POS, but it had a lot of issues.
Only kept it for a year..

Thats retail though...I'd guess maybe -$7500 or so with the Emp discount so $32,500'ish?

Seems reasonable for a new "strictly commuter" car (35mpg avg) that has a decent aftermarket...

About 25 years ago I gave car sales a shot. There wasn't that much mark-up on new cars. 3-4% on average. And in reality, a good negotiator can get a better deal then "Employee Pricing" sales events. There was nothing special about it, just another sales tatic from my experience.

Used cars, now that's where the money was!

I was at the 4th highest sales volume Nissan dealership in the country at the time.
Or least that's what Oscar claimed. He wouldn't have it any other way. Tucson peeps might remember that, haha

Edit- I'll throw this in to show where dealerships make the most from selling you a new car. I'm sure most already know this, but some don't.

    A. Selling you a warranty.
    B. Selling you financing (there can often be kick backs).
    C. Dealer add-ons.
    D. Service plans.
    E. Kick backs from the manufacturer.

Shame it's not simple like everything else.

"Scan this coupon and get 25% off" and voila :D
