our ops mgr just brought me some nicely prepared "red lechwe" to try.

it was better than most deer based meat. very tasty in a non-gamey, real beef type way

I still get the willy's when I eat non-cow meat.

I liked the interaction when he first met Ringo, spinning the cup. It cemented the tone for his fully-engaged-but-still-don't-give-a-shit character, which he played flawlessly.

Was pretty unmotivated today. Only skied, walked the dogs, washed the Porsche and went grocery shopping. I guess I'll head off to work and stack a few dollars.

 

First night back at work. This damn respiratory infection sucks, but at least I'm not contagious.

Speaking of learning things, apparently cough drops/lozenges with menthol can worsen and prolong a cough. As a result, I've stopped using Ricola for the cough and sore throat and I am now just gargling salt water every few hours. The relief difference is stark. I may never buy another cough drop, which sucks because I just bought a huge family pack of the Ricolas Friday night when I picked up my prescriptions.
