I don't have this truck anymore. I sold it as I needed a bigger truck, so now I have a 2010 That i just SC and its already 4wd.

I used to be a moderator in another forum and was part of a (nameless) tundra club until the president of said club lied to my boss and almost got me and my apprentice fired...I usually stay away from "EVENTS", but am willing to help people.

It's enough fun that 3 of us drive from TX to go. We aren't even the furthest ones who drive. It's a pretty good time. Highly recommend.

 

Unfortunately, I have no time off until July..
So, is there a mailing list or something to let me know when this event is next year?
That way I can plan ahead of time to save a few days off and make a nice vacation out of it, and possibly bring a few others..

 

It's usually at the end on April. It was at the end of February last year only because it was in Parker in the desert. I missed the announcement by 3 weeks this year until someone tagged me in the thread on the AZ page. They do have a FB page if you're on there.

I thought for sure I had the longest drive in 2023 but some sicko drove from Virginia.

I drove her around the neighborhood yesterday, after buttoning up a few things from the front end rebuild. I had to jump start her then, twice actually. But she started right up today and went on the highway, for the first time since it snowed in Houston, back in late January. She's starting to settle in the front finally. It's been since Sunday that she's been on her own front tires again, after lots of adjustments. I still need to take her to get an alignment this Friday. Then add a leaf.

 

Acting like you ain't been scheming to replace yours with the Limited 17's for like over a year now ...

I got the truck all sorted out with the help of my neighbor the other day. Going to drop it off at Toy Lex Friday for alignment.
