Well for reference, I'm a combat marine corps veteran. I have raised 2 girls from 3/6 years old even though they aren't my blood. Can afford to go on vacations without running up debt. Have a retirement plan in place. Have held leadership roles in my workplace for the last 17 years. At my last place when I left a good portion of the staff below me also turned over.

 

I have a similar view. Gotta love it when winter comes back full force after a week of snow melting heat. Keep building that snowpack. And slow that melt down.

Dude, I'm way to sick for that. Upper respiratory infection and ear infections. Only been on antibiotics and albuterol inhaler since Friday night.

Plus, I don't own a speedo.

I've been on hold for social security for the last 2 hours.

That's AFTER I put in for a call back yesterday. Took them 6 hours to call back and I could hear it was some slack ass working from home. Bunch of background noise and kids in the background. Wouldn't respond for a full minute of me saying "hello" over and over. Then the fucker sounds like he just woke up; "Uhhhh, hello?" To which I respond... and then he goes "huh" and hangs up after about 5 seconds.

THIS is why I hate paying taxes. Useless, lazy pieces of trash nap at home while "working" from home and don't do the damn job I am forced to pay them for.

I do OK.

I usually get the conversations flowing.

I'm usually in the group the laughing and cutting up.

If there is a smoker in attendance, I generally get up wind. no harm, no foul.

Hat, refer, flip flops. Don't drink much these days myself but still imbibe a wee bit here and there. Went sober for a few months right before thanksgiving and through Jan to check myself. Have one every now and again...
