    Hi, long time lurker, but new to the sight. So I own the truck outright and that means, i can have the truck fixed anyway I want. I'm thinking about having the rebuild shop put in an after market bumper as opposed to the OEM one...Anyone have any thoughts on this? Which one is the most prefered.

    I don't plan on lifting it and i plan on keeping this truck for a long long time, but I want make the bumper durable as all hell so the next time someone runs into my bumper goes into them, not their car into my bumper!!

    Does everyone do OEM hitches also? Any cool after market ones of them?

    Welcome and ouch. Definitely aftermarket offroad style rear bumper.

    Look at:
    Fab Fours
    Iron Cross
    Road Armor
    smittybilt
    Toughcountry
    Expedition One

    @matluth will say ranch hand

    I was looking at Fab Fours, I like that it looks close to the OEM, but it's much beefier.

    Thanks, i'll look into these.

    Get one of these Ranch Hand Sport rear bumpers and remember to keep a hitch receiver (locked) connected: http://www.ranchhand.com/products/back-bumpers[IMG]
    Not over kill and built tough.

    Next up is Insain to do the cab mount fix with my "Relentless" steel plates. Rear bumper can wait wait for me. Besides my rear bumper is not fracked up yet. heh heh.
    I really X2 hate my chrome nerfs. That's the next issue that I need to discuss with C Sain/Dylan.

    I went with a Smittybilt M1 and couldn't be happier with results. Solid bumper with additional lighting.46c59bca77756ccf536df04cfda8d78c_a471ff7654aebe465b53e6aac031fb12a74599a8.jpg

    That bumper definitely looks a hell of a lot better.
