Installed March 2025: -2” Dobinson IMS suspension lift -Freelance gusseted spindles -JBA uca’s -OEM lca’s OEM ball joints -Archive garage Md leaves w/ shackles and u-bolt flip kit -Trakmotiv extended CV’s -Freelance steering rack -Nomad Sahara 17” wheels -32x11.5 Falken Wildpeak AT3’s
Finally dove in and upgraded the arms, legs, and shoes of this old beauty. 20 years old, 260k, and now has all new spindles, ball-joints, control arms, cv’s, steering rack, sway links, leaves, shackles, shocks, wheels and tires. So far loving the ride quality the Dobinson IMS coils and struts especially paired with the Archive garage leaf packs. Nomad wheels bringing it a fresh new look and just like that she’s riding on rails. Stoked on this overhaul and upgrade to another legendary first gen Tundra that I hope to be driving for years to come.✨✨

Looks good. Shame you got rid of the Ivan's though. Pretty rare and some of the best looking wheels offered on the first gens as part of a special package. What did you do with them?

I've never been a fan of the Ivans or the Waltrips :crapstorm:. I understand their place. Unless I owned one of those particular packages, I wouldn't seek them out for my own truck.

Just listed the Ivan’s for sale. I appreciate your opinion and I really did enjoy their style and lightweight design, but made the change for the sake of going up to a 17” wheel, getting the offset I was looking for, and updating my trucks looks. For those reasons I really couldn’t pass up on the Nomads. They’re pretty rad too and stoked is the word!

I like both looks / wheels.
Super sharp looking truck either way!

What do you think of the nomads so far??? Seems like the rim comes out a bit and could be very easily scratched. Also what tire size did you end up with?
