    Good morning tundras. A little wet here this morning.

    Found another dead chicken inside the coop yesterday. Two now in the past 12 days. Not sure if they are having heart attacks or breaking necks coming down from the rafters. The first one we have no idea how old it was. She was a rescue. A family that moved and just left all the animals to fend for themselves (dogs/chickens/cats, etc). She was most likely 6+ years old.
    The last one was 4 years old. Down to 21 chickens now. We give a lot of our eggs away.

    Busy day ahead. Leaving soon to get a load of manure. Crap show. :D
    Oldest has her first instructed lead driving course today. Next one she gets to be on a skid course with her own car. That should be fun.
    After my long three day waiting period I can pick up my Sig 365. Still need to find a good gun leather holster.

    Good morning Chris. Manny got to go ice skating for the first time at the local hockey rink. A girl pushed him and he actually popped out a complete front tooth! WTF. Manny's friend's parents called me immediately. The rink is not even a 1/4 mile away. Got him and hauled ass to the nearest dentist. Valley Wide Dentist. Great staff
    They got the tooth back in. Followup in two weeks to see if it took hold. What was key is that I wrapped the tooth and put it in a cup of water. Dentist had it within minutes. One hour would be iffy. Wait and see now. Crazy....

    I would give the girls parents a bill. Actions have consequences. My oldest found that out the hard way and I held her responsible. Probably why her bank account is a bit less than the younger sister.

    Sorry to hear about the chickens. We had a couple die that mysterious way too. I think sometimes chickens just die. But we also think that like you, they were breaking their necks on landing. We took the top rung down and didn't have anymore deaths. Maybe try that if you still have room for the rest of them.
