It is. I've been in the sport for over 30 years. Dam almost 40 now. Time flies. What I like about the E bike is how I can regulate my heart rate to stay in a certain zone without blowing up. This is hard to do with a regular bike IMO without stopping a lot. With the E bike you can keep spinning and use the bike to stay in the zone. I still have a hard tail and love that thing but the E bike has really helped my fitness.

IMG_7972.jpg Took a ride through town to a mountain to look for turkey sign. I found some. There’s a few woods roads to explore. But I found out I’m out of shape. :(

Wish e-bikes were around back when I was really into hunting. Great way to access “walk in only” areas and get away from the crowds

I agree. But in PA, E-bikes are illegal on some state forest roads and gamelands roads where motorized vehicles are prohibited. Because E-bikes have a “motor”.

Are there different classes of e-bikes that would be allowed? In WA, pedal assist e-bikes are allowed in most areas, where a twist throttle style ebike is not

That is a good question. I don’t know. I’ll have to check into that.

Here’s what I found for riding a bike/ e-bike in PA. Looks like ya gotta do some research before driving to a place to ride in the woods. IMG_7981.png IMG_7982.png

Definitely worth a look if it could save you a 5 mile hike.

kinda funny they mentioned no ebike charging stations available on ebike trails, lol
