    New shoes - Falken Wildpeak AT4W 295/70R18
Just short of 94k miles on the Falken AT3W in the same size that just came off.
Also got the Coachbuilder outer tie rod ends installed and aligned, and ended up putting on the 1” Bora wheel spacers as well.

I agree. When one of mine began leaking, I found this out. Luckily, the repair facility is just over the border in Washington and the repair was done in a couple of weeks. IIRC, my shop had a spare that they were able to throw on for the duration of the repair. Love the BP51 setup otherwise. Can’t imagine a better ride, but I’d sure be swayed by shocks that could be repaired by my guys…

I also recently swapped out the Southeast Toyota "OEM" version for this one on ebay. The ebay version is much better for the newer phones. Night and day difference. Install was also easy, used the original wiring from the SE Toyota version and it plugged right in. Got to remember that wireless chargers are relatively inefficient...but overall way better with this newer version

Replaced my front bumper with a Chassis Unlimited steel bumper. I did a lot of research to find one that I could color match easily to match my OEM plus look I was going for. Finally no more rubbing. I’m really happy with the quality of the bumper and will lily be adding their rear bumper soon. I also put my new MT tires on. Went with 305/70/18 since they measures out to a little over 35” tall.

What made you choose atw4 over K03s? Brand loyalty since your atw3 setup worked so well?

My OEM parts I needed for my cooler install finally came in today. They must have got a lot of orders for the 25% off sale.

After work, I started assembling the cooler and thermostat in anticipation for the weekend. The cooler is very high quality. I lined up the atf fluid for a photo and seeing all makes me so happy to know that by this weekend it will be all fresh fluid in the transmission and everything else. I already did the coolant a couple weeks back. Two months ago the truck got a brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush, and all new fluids in the diffs and transfer case. So much satisfaction and peace of mind:bananadance:

All in for the cooler I'm at about $700. Then the 18qts of atf ws fluid and 3 gallons of coolant was $160. I got so much atf fluid because a local mechanic sells it cheaper by the case of 6 so I figured might as well have extra and run the fluid till it comes out clean. I may run 14qts thru it and leave 4qts for a drain and refill in a couple years.

    No.
    Things were close, but clear.
I just wanted a splash of red mostly. And @memario1214 happened to be there when I had a moment of weakness and a pocket of cash.

In the 300k miles on my first Tundra, I ran two sets of Duratracs and two sets of KO2s after the factory tires. The KOs performed better for me in our PNW conditions than Duratracs, but 50k miles was a stretch to get to for life and at the end they would get loose on wet pavement (but not nearly as bad as the duratracs)

I had still planned on KO’s on this truck when I bought it because that’s what I was familiar with (I think the KO3 was just becoming available at that time), but everyone was getting excited for the Wildpeaks and the price back then was significantly cheaper than the KOs (I paid $210/tire for the Wildpeaks in 2020). So I took a chance for what was easily a $500 discount over the KOs for me.

Fast forward to about two months ago when I started seriously looking at replacements - I had over 90k on a set of tires that was still working as well for me in our winter conditions as they did when I got them over 4 years before, while never wearing strange or getting loud. And the price for new ones is essentially the same or still a little less than the current KO in the same size.

So, yeah, maybe a bit of a gamble that their new version actually meets/exceeds the previous generation, but also easy to go back to a brand when I’ve had such good luck with what they claim to have improved on.

Which grill marker lights are you running? I kinda wish mine weren't smoked, but they fit like yours as well. I prefer these style than say Yota LED's being a small 'dot'

Painted the inside of the tail lights. Inspired by @TRDFerguson and @BlueRibbon4x4 build thread. i was not about to cut up the expensive oem piece. Ordered a pair from Amazon for $60, can of krylon fusion satin black, some clear silicon and went to town. Turned out good, imo. The plastic cutting disc for the dremel is a little thick in my opinion. End up using 2/3 tube of the 3oz permatex clear silicon sealant. Look really messy from the back. From the front? Looks real nice. Perfect amount of darkness. I was going to pay $150 to get them and the 3rd brake tinted. But, im happy with how it turned out. Hopefully i sealed it good enough to keep condensation away. Fitment was rather good. Driver’s side had a slight gap at the top. But you wont notice it unless you’re looking for it. But that could also from me cutting it and then misaligned when glueing back. It shifted slightly down.

I had no issue with purchase or delivery from Chassis Unlimited. They are based out of California. it’s a three piece bumper to it assembles easy, and install wasn’t bad. I did it in the garage with a floor jack, and the help of my 9 year old. The rear bumper is built in the same 3 piece design.
