Hi my name is Nick and I am a new member .I hope I'm doing this right I just recently bought a 2002 Toyota Sequoia from a friend of mine that was a pretty good shape but I recently had an issue with my windows.,All of my windows work correctly except the driver's side ,so I take a look at the switch and the harness was half melted so I bought another switch and harness,i nstalled them and the driver's side still won't roll down , any suggestions on how to diagnose what's going on,the locks work correctly just that one window ,,I mean I m not a mechanic but inclined but I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this vehicle because the second day the starter went out and it was an experience to say the least for a parts changer like me ,any input is greatly appreciated

    Hey Nick, Welcome.

Given each door ecu has it's on fuse, for starters I would check the 25A PWR NO. 1 fuse inside cab by driver kick panel. Especially given you mentioned melted harness.
