Do both devices connect to the truck when using the splitter? I was told that two devices would not work with a splitter since the CANBUS will only communicate/connect with one device at at time.

Now that I am thinking about it, maybe it works since a scangauge is only reading data.

Depends on the device. I have my SG3 and my Banks Pedal Monster running on the splitter. You have to enable "NO OBD" in the Pedal Monster settings.

Yep. I love the SG3. I just figured out that you can drag and drop Tire pressure locations after rotations as well.

I've inquired in the past about SGIII reading oil temp but our trucks don't have an oil temp sensor, is that correct? It was suggested that the coolant temp pretty much matches the same temp as oil, would that be true? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, I ran across the same thing. I'm not sure about the oil temp and coolant temp matching though.
