Picked up my new ccw this am…

Sig P365. 9mm, 10+1 capacity being I’m stuck here in NY.

 

Love mine. It’s the most accurate mass produced semi auto I’ve owned.

 

I shot my brother-in-laws last weekend. Put two mags through it just to make certain I wasn’t having a lucky day. That’s all I needed to be convinced. He wanted me to shoot more to be certain…no need. I will say it’s not quite as accurate, at least with me, as my HK P7M8, but that guns has gotten so expensive now I don’t want to risk having to use it as a ccw and have it tied up in a court battle, or worse!

 

Surprised you even have 1 of 2 CCW permits in the state

 

Took my mandatory nys 18hr course in Dec. PD called me last week. Good to go!

 

Those are nice little pistols...I know lots of guys who carry those off duty. Plans for an optic since its cut for one?

I've always liked Sig: my first 1911 was a Sig GSR. A Sig P226 Elite is on my short list....

 

I’ve got a Vortex red dot on my P320 which is a range toy that I occasionally shoot matches with. Still trying to acquire the dot as fast as irons, but I’m still going to need some work. Until that time I’ll just stick with the oem tritium irons. Been looking at the Holosun 507. Seems like a good compromise between cost and features.

Nice! I’ve had a P238 for years… it’s been dead reliable and shoots better than it should for such a small frame. Let us know what you think after you get a couple hundred rounds through her.

 

You can get 13 that has a slightly extended mag in the free states.

Great choice! I have the P365X for my EDC. I changed the stock grip module for a Wilson Combat.

Does NY allow you to swap the grip module?

 

How many 'lists' do you have??

 

I'm 99.9% sure that changing grips is one of the things that isn't an issue in this stupid state.
