Just received check engine light on my 2019 limited Tundra. Code reader says “radar cruise control”. Cruise control does not currently work. Anyone else ever have this issue/engine code?

    thanks

Never had a CEL but misty rain on the sensor gave me a similar warning message. Only happened once.

Had that happen before but this seems different. Radar still works but no cruise control and check engine light.

check TSS sensor and wiring. Also load test battery, if it is original its old and should be replaced. Weak battery will cause all sorts of weird alerts/issues, often seemingly random and odd.

Is that the only stored code when you scanned?

Do you have stock intake or aftermarket? I recall an issue with a 2018 with your symptoms ....and it took the dealer a bit longer dive to find more codes, was related to airflow from aftermarket CAI....his problem was check engine and no cruise.

Thanks for the info. I went to autozone and borrowed their reader. Only code I saw was the radar cruise control. When I brought the scanner inside the guy hooked it up to laptop and diagnostic came back I should clean battery terminals. Battery is only 1 yr old. Terminals had a bit of corrosion. Cleaned it off and code went away and cruise control worked fine. Next day later the CEL came on and cruise control stopped.

This same thing happened to me ; the pcs and radar cruise are linked I believe. I kept cleaning the battery terminals and it would go away for awhile and then return. The only thing that fixed it was replacing the battery. I know it’s only a year old but did you get it load tested? The electronics with these two (radar cruise and pre collision system) seem VERY sensitive to voltage changes and battery issues
