2018 NON-led headlights

Has anyone else noticed the 2018 halogens have a black housing similar to the pros???? I was just wandering around the dealership getting my oil changed and noticed it, figured I woulda heard about this here by now!!!

 

Did you notice if the housing's were all the same regardless of model? I am curious if there are any differences like on the '17 Platinum vs. SR5 vs. Pro, etc.?

 

Anyone have detailed pics of the non led 2018 lights? I just see the led ones

 

I think @thomasbus337 had a set at one point. I remember him posting a pic of it. It looked like a 3rd gen pro headlight with the platinum LED strip on the bottom.

 

I have some on order but haven't seen any detailed pics of them....was just curious since I have yet to see them in person. There's plenty of images of the LED version but non-led are definitely not as popular. Might check out the dealership.

Awesome apprecaite that. Geez now I'm second guessing myself again. I do want a set of the LED version as well. Just wish they had projectors from the factory with the full LED DRL.

Someone will probably eventually retrofit a led projector Into the 2018 led headlights.

 

Your d2s retro will outshine any led any day. If you want outright performance just stick with those.
