Rough Country Rear Wheel Well Liners

Took longer to take all the stickers off than it did to install them. There are two existing plastic retainers at the top of the wheel well that self destructed when removing them, kit comes with a substitutes. Two screws go in the bottom on each side into existing holes too.

Overall easy install, about $100 bucks, nice to get ride of the gap.

 

Looks good! I need to do the same, it’s weird looking at the wheel well and seeing what’s on the other side of the truck

 

That's the main reason I put those on mine. I hate seeing all the way through the truck at the rear wheels.
Those are a huge improvement & super easy install.

Nice! Looks like they fit good. Do they make something like that for front wheel wells too? I will have to check those out.

 

Gave RC another couple hundred bucks. These and their cat protector / skid? plate.
Installing both in the next few days.

Those are a much better one piece look than earlier Frankenstein multi piece attempts that looked worse than the gap itself

I like both the front and back wheel liners but since I just bought the Tuxmat floor liners and Lomax tonneau cover I promised the wife that was enough upgrades for a while. This will be an easier sell this Fall I think. I did save both links!

The packaging on these is wild, THERE IS NONE! Stickers on the product and just ship it

 

Yep, had the same thought. Where's the box? Nope.
Zip tie them together, stuff an instruction sheet and some fasteners in a sticky envelope, slap it on and ship 'em!
And of course, 90% of the stickers are on the visible side so you have to clean all the leftover goo off.

First world problems I suppose.

 

I wanted to share that I have Airlift airbags installed (part#88383) on the rear of my Platinum, along with Pro Fox shocks. To make the passenger side sit flush, I had to trim a hole using a Dremel with a Rotozip bit. This was necessary to allow the small bolt on the relocated module to poke through the Airlift bracket. Just a heads-up if you have airbags installed.

Also, the stickers on the liners were a real pain to remove. Don’t use a heat gun—it actually makes the adhesive stick even more. The best way to remove them is by carefully and slowly scraping them off, it was a test of my patience.





Its this little bracket that i have circle and an arrow to that I had to make a little clearance in the passenger side liner.

Also: Goof Off or Goo Gone make short work of leftover adhesive residue.

 

I tried to rub goof off on it before I peeled it and that kind of made it worse too... maybe it was just cold when I did it back in December. Goof off did help for the final residue though as you stated.

 

Got mine last weekend and put off putting them on because I thought it came without the hardware. I just found it shoved down between the liners.

Fun fact for anyone that doesn't know, you can ship a potato or coconut with USPS and just put the stamp on the potato or coconut.

 

For the stickers GOO GONE works fine, most just don’t use it properly. With GOO GONE it needs time to work, so soak it and leave it for at least 10 maybe 20 minutes. It will penetrate the paper and work the adhesive. Then clean with a degreaser.

 

I had the Arks on mine but had to take them off after installing Kings. Is there a way to keep the rough country liners on with reservoirs?

I have airlift and the liners. No holes, heat gun formed the shield around it.

Contemplated doing that and decided I would probably burn a hole anyway, so I went with the roto zip bit. Glad to hear that worked.

Still thinking about riveting a piece of rubber over it, but not sure its worth it.
