Wanting to this switch. Seems pretty easy. Which one did you purchase? I see some that have all inputs on 1 side, or others that have 2 sides (for the panel). I also have yotaleds. Could I hook them to the panel and have a switch? New to all this stuff. Thanks!

Either switch panel will work; what are yota leds?

but as long as they have a power wire and a ground wire they can be hooked up to the switch panel

They are grill lights that piggyback off the INJ fuse. Seems the Auxbeam plugs in best there, so I might as well wire them into the unit.

I have the 8 gang with single side input. the main difference between the single and dual side input is it just gives you more flexibility on installing accessories, dependent on how/where you have the block mounted. Some folks use the supplied bracket to install on the fender well or on top of the fuse box lid./ I installed mine on a rago air compressor mounting plate that mounts to the fender well and covers the fuse box. gives plenty of room to mount the switch box and circuit breaker and I also have a winch master power control switch mounted on that plate.

you can definitely mount your yotaleds or whatever lighting onto a switch. I have LED running lights on my front bumper wired separately as well as ditch lights, light bar in my bumper, etc. the possibilities are endless!

Sounds good. Pretty excited to have an easy way to add accessories. The wiring is what stopped me before.
    1) where did you go through the firewall?
    2) how did you decide to mount the controller in the cab?
    Thanks

There’s a big rubber grommet on the lower driver and passenger sides of the firewall, you can cut a slit in that and route the controller through

a lot of people have mounted the controller on their roof in the overhead console, I mounted mine on the lower left side of my dash, underneath the buttons for bed lights etc

I also routed through the firewall. I mounted my controller on my dash on my rago dash plate.

they sell ballmount attachments for the back of the switch controller

I thought about the rago plate. I’d love to mount in my overhead bin. Installing the full 2G overhead console this weekend. Figure I can spare a spot now.

Wanting to make sure I get the right unit. Is the 60w enough to power 4 diode 3” pod lights and my “raptor” grill lights all at once?

Ordered the RA80 RGB. Might also try to tackle the anytime front/rear camera at the same time. Then I can run to auxbeam control wire and camera wire through at the same time.

What do you all use to connect wires? Don’t want to solder. Only need to connect the anytime camera switch. Crimp kit? I’ve also seen those heat shrink with solder connectors. Appreciate the info. Trying to get into more wiring tasks.

Got it all wired. Which way should the add-a-fuse go? I have it INJ. Should the wire be facing towards the grill or the firewall? Thanks.

I get that. How do I know what side of my fuse space is hot? I’m assuming standing on the driver side lookin at the fuse box, the left side is hot? I have the wire going towards the right (firewall) Thanks!

use a multimeter to check; one side on the negative of the battery and use the other side to check the fuses

You could Google a fuse box diagram, I don’t know off the top of my head which pole is powered

What Joe said - I was clueless to this when I first heard it a while ago. You can get a cheap multimeter from anywhere - doesn't have to be anything fancy.

Pole towards the front of the truck has power (which is ironic cause I have mine backwards lol)
