I'm debating these over the R/T trails in a 37" for my PRO once the lift is on...... love some feedback - liking the lower weight of the Coopers and D load rating ...

    thanks

I'm going to be a debbie downer here, sorry :(....I've had Coopers twice in my life and been disappointed with them both times. First time wore out at 30k miles and got crazy loud by then too. Second set are my current t Discoverer AT3 4S, at 26k miles they are down to 6-7/32's, nearly worn out. And 90% of my driving is on pavement and I'm easy on the throttle too. And don't even think about trying to use the warranty (as on most tire mfgs) you have to return the tires to Cooper along with documentation that you did the rotations on time etc. It's a pain, and even then the best they will do is to prorate the tires. I do agree that the RT trails look nice and they get good reviews. Hope you have a better experience with Coopers that I have :)

haha - I'm cautious having had a bad experience with a set of STT Pro's on my 80 series that work like heck - and the rubber went really hard... had to toss them with 18k on the set over 2 years or so..... at the time my local DT gave me 40% credit towards a set of Toyo's....

I also had issues with Cooper. Cooper XLT at3.

They felt squirrelly at speed, would never keep balance, flat spot. Had 2 that were replaced under warranty due to sidewall cracks and after about 6 trips back to shop for rebalance in 9k miles, DT allowed me to return them and use full price $ toward another set of tires. Due to that I would not try any Cooper tire again.

I will add that on 1 of the 4 Discoverer AT3 4S on my truck now, that one if them gives a steering pull. When first installed it happened to be on the front and truck had a pull to one side. After some swapping around I came to the conclusion it was one of the tires. Since then I've made sure that tire never ends up on the right front position. In the current configuration it's due to go to the right front with the upcoming "normal" rotation, which will not happen in part because all of the tires get replaced due to the above described early wear out. Sorry Cooper, I really wanted to like your tires but just couldn't.

Sounds like a pass on these.... the Toyo's are a known thing.... running them on my other rig and they were what replaced the Coopers (RT's)

appreciate the nudge away from fate.

PXL_20250312_175600561.jpg Coopers are typically cheaper for a reason. I have the R/T Trails and they are simply amazing.

I have no experience with the R/T Trails, but I did run a set of STTs on a previous Tundra. They looked cool, but....

Like others have said, they wore out quickly, were difficult to keep balanced, didn't handle well, and were extremely loud especially after about half the tread was gone. Granted their aggressive tread design contributed to some of that. The R/Ts might be different.

    I went back to BFGs.
