You're buying OEM inner tie rods? Last time I priced those it made more financial sense to either buy a whole new steering rack or go aftermarket. Since my rack isn't leaking, I went with Moog inners.

Also, I don't think you could have timed this any worse. You just missed Toyota's 25% off sale which ended March 15th...

Yeah, I'm going OEM. I get a parts discount for working here so I won't be paying full price.

Got it. Didn't realize you worked at a Toyota dealership.

Going back to your question, don't forget cotter pins. Maybe you can snag those for free from the junk drawer.

Good call. I'm doing the LBJ install while I'm in there and have some from that purchase.

Does that mean we could buy our parts through you?

I don't work in the parts department directly so I couldn't facilitate the shipping/receiving or any of that. I'm in the collision department.

    UPDATE
When I called ToyotaPartsDeal.com, I asked if they had the item in stock. The guy's reply was "The item is available for order." I should have paid better attention to his careful phrasing. I have since received an order update that said THEY have placed an order for the item and estimate to have it in their possession by March 31st. I could have done no worse with the local dealer. Crazy!

I've posted a few times on here about ToyotaPartsDeal. I didn't have a good experience with them at all and I would advise against them. I believe they're part of a dealer network of some sort and act as a middleman, and the parts will eventually ship from a dealer.

This forum and their sister forum TacomaWorld - hey another auto-underline/hyperlink term! - is chock full of horror stories with ToyotaPartsDeal.

I personally wouldn't trust buying with them based on what I've heard.

I need a runway light for when I wander downstairs in the dark during the middle of the night. Something that turns on/off by itself and not too bright to blind me since I’m going back to bed.

Get i white fiberglass cane to tap about. Being able to ‘see’ in the dark is a real skill. Unless you have streetlights.

Do they turn on/off from motion? I may not have enough outlets though in the right locations unfortunately.

Nah, they have a light sensor and kick up when it's dark. Then turn off when it's light.

I bought a bunch during Black Friday. They were good enough I bought some for my parents for their hall.

I already picked the country for our vacation: America. And the state: Texas. And the town: Denton. I don't care what their police did to that cyclist, it's still a good town.
