Tagging Members Work Inconsistently

    I've seen this happen a number of times, figured it's time to complain/inform the higher powers of it. Here is a clear example that just happened, and I only saw the tag out of coincidence of clicking on the thread:

    I would even venture to guess 50% of tags don't have any alerts passed on. I've seen tons of tags in the supercharger thread where it never notified me.

    I think if they post then edit adding the tag you don’t get a notification. I could be wrong.

    If a post is edited within the first 5 minutes - the post doesn’t get the “edited” label on the bottom.

    BINGO. That said... Things aren't perfect. I don't see an edit history on that particular post indicating that he added in the tag later. Hopefully @Bob can see what might be going on, if anything.
