i want to get a new pistol and between these two I'm not sure which way to go. Both have their pros and cons. I really like the mounts people have been putting in their tundras. What do you all recommend and show me some mounts!!!

Both are great. I like the feel of the Glock over the Sig though.

Glock 10mm over Sig if I had to choose between the two as far as calibers. Royal Canadian Mounties swear by the 10mm. Lot of pro/con's about the 10mm.
Forget both. 1911 45 is combat proven. Semi auto? Easy choice>http://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/1911

Do you ever to plan on reloading? Something to consider too.

    Glock 10mm:upload_2015-9-16_22-27-35.jpg Pretty good

    BEST IMO:[IMG]

I still have a Ruger Black Hawk revolver 41 Mag that I bought in 75. Can't jam. My favorite. images_a5f800ff7d9de9eede074464a6fda0981ed8fb9c.jpg

    Nice one there man...

To be honest op they all have there pros and cons with them.

Sigs are very well built and HEAVY...

glocks. Built well alittle light IMO.

Both have been used by police and armed forces so you cant go wrong.

Guns are like tires: "what's the best?" Apples and oranges. "What caliber is the best?" What rifle/handgun is best is what is my hand at the time. heh heh. Right??

I own every gun posted above and I love my Glock 27 gen 4 the most(40 cal). I'm a minimalist so it's perfect for me since there's nothing to them. Easy to break down, clean, load, and conceal. And any Glock magazine will fit any Glock (of same caliber of course). Here's mine with a 15 round magazine.
    image.jpg
And here's my mount I installed in the Tundra. The picture is from my Tacoma though, but it still works.

And for some eye candy... My Kimber .45 and my Dessert Eagle 50 cal with a red dot sight!

Agreed. I think @dkahs05 would agree too. Here is his truck showing the knee air bag deployed.

I was looking at a Sig p220 after reading reviews and shooting it with a buddy while camping. I liked it a lot. I have never shot a Glock but they have a good reputation as well. Went camping a few weeks ago and took my dads Springfield XDM 45. I think I almost liked it more than the Sig but i want to shoot both in the same day to decide. My dad has 7 brand new XDM's along with his daily Xdm and he wants to get me my first hand gun for the upcoming b-day. He thinks i should go with the Xdm but I just want something that feels comfortable and is reliable. Good luck with your decision. Wouldn't it be nice if you could have BOTH.

Glock of course. Proven and basic. Shoots dead on right out of the box. As for the caliber I'd go with 9mm. Perfect knock down to kick in my opinion and usually easy to stock up on rounds. A glock 19 if you want a fairly compact gun that will hold 15 rounds or the newer glock 43 is a 6 round single stack for a very concealable gun. My 19 is probably my favorite gun. Its a tool to me and I know it will work when I need it.

Guns are like suits. Try one on. If you like the fit, wear it. It really depends on your needs. If it is for concealed carry, you'll want something easily concealed depending on your style of dress. Wearing a heavy side arm throughout the day gets uncomfortable. I don't carry a full size Glock at work while wearing plain clothes. I choose to carry a single stack S&W. Depending on your hand size also makes a difference in fit and feel. If you shoot with too large a grip, you'll likely push the rounds left if right handed. Both Glock and Sig are proven guns. Which ever you go with, be safe!

I have a sig P250 that i usually carry, trigger has a really long pull but it makes me feel like i'm less prone to an accidental discharge. it's basically like shooting a 9-shot revolver due to the trigger.

    IMG_2035.jpg

However, when it's in the truck, i like simple.
This is how i had my old pistol in the tacoma, but i do about the same with the tundra i have now. it fits better in the tundra because it has the slot between the two cup holders it it fits perfectly.
