Yes it was, I was just hoping to do it when I wanted to and the engine was already there, but it will take about 2 weeks for it to arrive.

Epic thread! I just found it and read it last night. OP definitely has more balz than I do off roading a new truck. I owned my 2.5gen for 9 years and put 210K mi on it. I took it on a few rough trails and along with a mediocre Toytec lift I broke ball joints, UCA's, and bushings. And it was sagging poorly in the back from fatigued springs. I ended up dropping $3k to $7k every 9 months on replacement shocks, lower control arms, CVs, ball joints, and on and on. It was fun in the beginning when it was new but a nightmare towards the end. Since then, I've opted to keep my two week old '25 a little more stock with the factory 3" lift, TRD sway bar, and sub-35" tires. That last truck just broke me of going bold on lift geometry and jeep trails so it's nice to live vicariously through others, lol.

Pappa Dave's motto should be, "We dare to live dangerously so others don't have to" :D

For the lower bumper sides I added Strands Lighting Division cubes as ditch lights. I needed to add a switch so I got one off Yota Verse. For the Limited trim models the far left lower switch is a square blank and I thought it would pop right in like the others I have done.

    It did not.

I took the blank in there and cut the end off so that the switch would wedge in securely. A hassle but it worked.

    End result

    Chopping the top off

Cleaning it up, getting the right depth was trial and error

Any thought of using a switch panel of some sort?

Considered it but didn’t want to deal with it, generally I don’t off road at night and kept switches to a minimum. But with the new bumper figured I’d load it up with lights now. Most of my camp switches are in the back on my control panel. Aside from my HAM radio I’m trying to kept the dash uncluttered

After looking at the switch at night I just bought switches from the original place I purchased my previous ones. The switch is fine but the blue LED inside is brighter and more blue than my other ones.

These are the switches I like better than YotaVerse’s ones.

Aironboard also has a much larger selection and they are the closer to OEM

I purchased several OEM switches. Just waiting for them to arrive. Using cheap eBay ones for now.

Yozzy (Yo zee) Overland out of Post Falls Idaho is a new company founded by a man passionate about adventure. John the founder also started CVT roof top tents, FSR roof top tents, Zamps Solar and Expion360 to name a few. They are currently looking to move into their flagship store location in about 60 days and good things are to come.

I am excited to announce that I teamed up with Yozzy to create the YAK, Yozzy Adventure Kitchen for the trail, camp, or tailgate party! It’s pretty awesome! There are 3 models available which include custom lithium batteries, sink, burner, custom water tank, options for MPPT controllers and DC to DC chargers plus a built in fridge.

Take a look at what the new design offers and they are now taking refundable deposits for June builds. I can walk you through the process, just message me, thanks!

Depth trimming trail and error was no joke. Move my heated steering wheel to a spot I can see easily.
All blanks filled with OEM now. Just need to source connectors and pin outs to complete the project.

I like that solution. Like I said earlier, if I didn't already buy the material to make a hinge mount I would be using your idea.
