Of course the salesmen told me he didn't think they were going to have anything like the rock warrior for 14'.
I can't wait to see the Tundra TRD Pro and how much I am going to regret not waiting until later to buy so it could have been an option. Can't wait to find out the details, hopefully its way out of my price range so I couldn't have done it anyway.

I hear ya. I hope the grill is affordable, since I will not be entertaining the idea of trading my 14 for a different 14.

I know one thing... if it comes with an e-locker, my '13 will have one as soon as they sell the part!

A few weeks ago a was listening to a car radio show in Chicago, at the time they were talking to a Toyota representative. He said they have a few plan announcement at the Chicago auto show...a couple of them dealing with trucks. He didn't give any other details. As most of you know, Toyota likes releasing their models in the Chicago auto show. Can't wait!!!

Pretty predictable. Just renamed the Baja version of the Taco they already sold and gave a similiar treatment to the other 2. The Tundra doesn't do much for me. Eapecially don't like the name stamped into the bedside.

I do like that 4Runner though.

Just a few, more to come
    Do want!
Even though it's mostly a marketing gimmick, there's enough there for me to want one. Coming off the lot with some decent suspension, an exhaust, and all the TRD treatments is pretty cool. I'd add a bunch of my armor to it and slap some of my shop logo's on it, then rock it like that until the stock tires are below 1/2 tread and then do bigger tires and a few more mods and call it a BA daily driver/tow rig/work truck. LOVE the inferno color.

The duals is a nice touch on the Tundra...I would imagine many will change out the suspension lift if they want a couple of extra inches on their ride...unless they decide to add a spacer lift on top of it

The colour looks the best on the 4-runner for sure. I think i mostly just like the colour matched grill and toyota logo better than the chrome you get on the regular '14s. It will most likely be way over priced for the suspension upgrade you get. Building your own TRD Pro would probably be cheaper and stronger.

Good add-ons for those that don't mod their trucks that want a little more capable and different looking vehicle. For those that enjoy modding and want to choose the look then this is just a waste of money.

I also am curious about the price tag. There's a good chance I will powder coat my 14' trd off road wheels black, buy those center caps, and get a leveling kit and trd or corsa exhaust, color match my grill, and like it as much as if I bought a trd pro instead. Hopefully it will be cheaper this way. I do wish I waited, but I know I wouldn't have wanted to spend the extra money, and would still end up changing that grill.

Whynot just make it your own, how you like it, instead of creating a look alike factory Toyota mall crawler?

I guess I shouldn't have worded it that way. I should have said after I personalize my truck I hope it looks better and is cheaper to do. I planned to do all those things prior to the TRD Pro, with the exception of the wheels, which I planned to plastidip to make all black. I like the look of those black wheels and would prefer the powder coat over plastidip, and I like the red TRD logo on the cenetercaps.

All well in good if that was a real truck and not just that websites idea/rendering of what they could do.

I really think Toyota needs to work on taking more of a chunk out of the sales of the competing trucks before worrying about any kind of serious Raptor competitor (if the Raptor even returns on the next gen F150) since the Raptor is such a small piece of overall F150 sales. Money can be better spent on making the powertrain more efficient/refined, etc. than creating a truck that most people never take off road anyway haha.

That 4Runner does look good! I hate the new "angry catfish" front end on the 4Runners in general, but it works better with the TRD Pro treatment. The Tundra looks decent, but I doubt I'll look at a newer Tundra until they do something new with the engine and/or transmission.
