    Hello,

I am new to this page.
I bought a 2013 toyota sequoia back in November. I liked it because it had tv’s in the back of the front seats headrests. Well come to find out, they don’t even work. (Our fault for not even making sure and assuming)
And they’re not even the seats that actually go with the car, they were put in because I’m assuming the seats before that were junk.
Does any one have seats similar like that? Or how to fix them or anything?
The wires under the seats don’t connect to anything. But I’m assuming they have to? Our audio system even has stuff for the entertainment system too?? So I’m just wondering if they can ever work or a way to make them work.

The wire harness underneath the seats won’t connect to anything if they are not OEM seats.

I think your best bet at this point is to find seats out of another Sequoia on copart or something like that. Make sure they match your trim level (Platinum, Limited, or SR5) so they’ll plug in to whatever wire harness you may or may not have in the floor.

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. In other words: get original factory Toyota seats.

It means the seats Toyota made for the Sequoia, that it originally came with from the factory. Every manufacturer has their own way of doing things, and I would not expect the wiring of some other seat to plug neatly into the Toyota wiring harness.

You’ll need to call around to junkyards or look online at CoPart.

PS—no Toyota sequoia came with screens in the backs of the headrests…the original rear entertainment (if originally equipped) was a fold-down screen mounted in the headliner.
