Your truck with its extra weight and those 40's would probably appreciate a turbo.

Absolutely! The only downside is the pipe routing outside of the frame on the passenger side, I don't know if I could make it work.

Unfortunately no. Closest we’ll come to Ruidoso is Capitan.

Just got this kit myself, I see you have the stock LCAs how much did you end up having to cut to clear the lower portion of the coil over?

If you don’t have at least 3.5” between frame and your tire at full turn, it’ll rub. My 34’s bump it with 1” spacers. Not bad but they touch. Talking with turbokits and they are looking into ways to get additional clearance down there.

Capitan is even closer haha. My fab shop is in Nogal.
Any chance I could buy you a beer and check out the turbo stuff if you aren't in a hurry?

I'd definitely rub, I'm running 40's so not a ton of room. I could always dump a straight pipe fender exit exhaust, but my wife might kill me.

Let me talk to the wife. If she’s down with a stop for a bit I’m good with it. I’ll let you know.

Sounds good man, no problem either way. Sounds like you guys have a long drive and nothing sucks more than a stop in the middle of the day sometimes.

Got a bunch done on the truck in run prep. Rewired a few things got the dual arb back up and running which I’ll use as a back up since having the powertank as the primary.

Reinstalled my old bumps, fresh powder coated old bedcage in the rear, bed gear. Since I think my new suspension items won’t be here in time. Saturday drop off for the trans and headers. Plan b shocks should be here soon (3.0x16) plan A shocks still with late shipment (4.0x18).

Being on the water in dense fog is sketchy. The most dense I've been in was on the Detroit River a couple years ago fishing in the fall, couldn't see land and the river probably ranges from 1/4-1/2 mile across depending where you are and we could only see about 20-25ft max in any direction. At first I was concerned because I could hear boats running around faster than idle and I couldn't see them, and the Detroit River gets busy in the spring and fall for walleye, it's not uncommon to be drifting within 20-30ft of 2 or 3 boats and be among 50+ other boats in that area. Later while we were drifting we heard the first freighter blowing its horn, couldn't see it though, we idled back towards the mouth where it's wider to make sure we weren't too close never did see it which is crazy given how huge they are. A few times through the morning the fog tried to lift and we got to see how many boats were really around us and it was wild. I never went faster than idle speed that day due to the fog. That's the only time I've really been that concerned on the water and felt the people around weren't taking enough precaution.

Wasn't much. Just ran the grinder around a few times to open up the mounting area. Drew a line with a marker and tried to stay within it. I can try to get a pic of it after work if you like.

Airbox with K&N Filter, 2" lift on 33's, Alpine iLX-F309 head unit, Pull out bed tool boxes, brown with black trim, rims, etc, black leather interior, matching topper. Muffler delete (too loud..) 62k miles!!!
Still fixing previous owner short cuts...The spacer lift is being replaced (not that its a bad thing, just time for it to go) with Eibach pro's in the front as I picked them up brand new on FB marketplace for $50. Going over things with a fine tooth comb, he did the diff drop but never put spacers in the skid plate... It was riding on the diff brackets. So I welded some spacers to the skid plate yesterday and mounted it, much better. I noticed after the fact that someone along the way hammered the metal hooks and lost the 3 plastic clips for the front plastic cover so when I do the next oil change ill tack some nuts in those slots to make it a permanent fix there as well. We live off-grid about 10 miles from anything resembling a road so I have to take everything to an extreme in hopes it will last on the rough terrain.

Other items addressed: An Alpine ILX-309 is installed on the truck. I can't say I'm particularly fond of the install as its been problematic since day one.

    1. Rear camera went out 2 days after taking ownership. Pulled the head unit and soldered a ground to the RCA jack per google suggestion. Camera fixed and working great.
    2. Intermittent front/rear speaker loss going over bumps (10 miles of bumps, this is painful)... Pulled head unit out 2nd time and found 3 wires twisted and electrical taped and 1 with a household wire nut on it. Soldered all connections and reinstalled head unit.
    3. Intermittent front/rear speaker loss going over bumps. Pulled the head unit 3rd time and found one of the connectors for the factory wiring clip's had been "bent" out of shape and wasn't holding the connection firm. Tried multiple ideas of securing this connection, setting on wedging a piece of plastic behind the clip and electrical taping the crap out of it. Not sure of the "fix" being permanent so when I go back in I may replace the connector and break out the hot glue.
    4. after having it out 3 times now for various issues I don't care much for the mounting used. it's very flimsy and with the rough road its just getting worse. I'm going to look at housing options to find something a little beefier and with all the proper clips..

Modified the Furrion mount to attach it to the Rago for our trip tomorrow. Got rid of the crappy Lippert camera on our new camper and replaced it with the Furrion Vision S. I cut off the lower portion of the base mount and attached the Amps ball mount.

Nice! I bought the Rago dash plate to solve a way to mount my Furrion camera screen when towing. Totally stealing this idea.

Easy one today, simply cabin filter swap.

New sonar clips came in as well, just waiting on those Bumpershellz.

You wouldn't expect the housing color change to make such a difference, but I bet the truck looks different to you. Nicely done

I may be posting them up in the coming days with details...

Unfortunately one of the mounting tabs partially broke upon removal but I am going to see what I can do about repairing it.
