It's under Electrics > Switch & Relay. Here's a sample 2002 VIN, open the 'full size' scheme #4 image, here: https://toyota-usa.epc-data.com/tun...01/?frame_no=5TBRT34172S262383&full&picture=4

You should find it there. It looks like if you click on the text "85535B" it will give you the part number you need. One main part number and an alternate "SUBST" (substitute) part number

Contacted Flatout off-road this morning about body bushing. I hope to hear back soon.

I’m reaching out to inquire about aftermarket body bushings for the 1st Generation Toyota Tundra Double Cab (2004–2006) and the 1st Generation Toyota Sequoia (2001–2007). Currently, there are no aftermarket options available for these trucks, and OEM bushings are prohibitively expensive. For example, when I last inquired about bushings for my 2004 Sequoia, the cost was over $800 USD.

I know there is significant demand for affordable aftermarket bushings among owners of these vehicles. Discussions in various Toyota Tundra and Sequoia communities, including Facebook groups and forums like Tundra Solutions, Tundras.com frequently highlight this need.

My question is: What would it take to develop aftermarket bushings for these models? Specifically, how many customers or pre-orders would be required to justify production?

I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you. Please let me know if you need additional information or feedback from the community.

    Best regards,
 Melvin Gonzales

Okay, that helped. I've got a screwy "early 2002" VIN. For mine it was scheme #6. Turns out I found the right page, but just assumed there were only 2 schemes like most of the other pages and failed to scroll further down. Looks like it's sold in two parts: the socket and the cover. For my build date of 06/2002 it will be
SOCKET ASSY, POWER POINT: 85530-33020 (SUBS 85530-06010)
COVER, POWER POINT SOCKET : 85535-34030-C0 (SUBS 85535-0E010-C2)

You're right, and I missed that tidbit about 2 parts. I assumed one was the socket, and the other was the socket and plastic combined. Clearly not the case.

But yeah, you got it now!

Seriously though, once he stops putting literally everything in his mouth he'll be out there with me. His older brother is uninterested, and I'm not gonna force him into it if he doesn't want it

Yeah, we didn’t force our kids into activities they didn’t want. We made them try everything though. No way they’ll know if they like it or not unless they try. We don’t make em eat stuff they don’t like either. But they have to try it if they never have. His older brother may change his tune when he gets his first ride. Or not, not everyone’s a wrencher.

That's the way we are, even though it's a bit of a bear to get him to try anything that's not chicken. I've told him he's not going back to his room until he tries at least X amount of porkchop or so. Or whatever we are having

    He's just a chicken boi

The downside is having kids with sophisticated pallets ordering a bunch of sushi instead of $8 happy meals. Oh well.

I saw something in the last couple of days.

Kid would only eat chicken. Parents made salmon and told them it was "beach chicken".

Like, "you've had field chicken already, you should try beach chicken, since you love chicken so much".

Kid supposedly ate every damn bite.

Our oldest would literally eat anything and did, to the point we had to intervene. Youngest is picky as hell but getting better. Burgers, chicken nuggets, tacos ... imagine a pub food, it's his favorite. Interestingly, they both ate just about everything growing up.

The reality is, kids like salty stuff, and chicken nuggets and hot dogs are jammed with salt/salts. Salt is addictive to humans.

My mom forced me into tap dancing back when i was like 7 or 8 years old. I knew before i even laced up those clickety-clackety shoes that i didn’t want any part of it. She still forced me anyhow. Gawd…just over 40 years later and i’m still cringing from it. Looking back, the only reason i had to do it was because my older sister took ballet lessons, and my mother couldn’t just leave me home alone.

The only private lessons I had as a kid was taekwondo once a week, I think in sixth grade. Also went to the class twice a week for a few years.
Got my red belt. Wish I stuck it out for another year to get my black belt, but junior high football...

I remember seeing that episode many years ago. It hit too close to home. The only person who knows that i took tap lessons when i was a kid is my best friend…and he doesn’t ever let me forget either.

We have a mandate in this house if you're a kid living under our roof:
    • You will do something music or other arts
    • You will do something athletic
    • No exceptions
For the oldest, that started with ukelele on the musical side, and tumble for atheltics around age 7ish, while the youngest opted for soccer on the sport at the same age, and when he was old enough both shifted to piano. They both play piano really well, too, oldest bounced more into music theory after a couple of years. Both kids do crossfit as their sports thing now, youngest is still in soccer. Aside from an electric piano, I was always pissed my parents wouldn't let me play drums when I was younger, so when the kids asked for a drum kit, I went out and bought one of the nice Yamaha electric kits and the youngest plays that. I also have acousting and electric guitars, amps, and tons of other stuff for them to play. It was my biggest regret growing up: We didn't have money for musical instruments, a lot of the schools I went to only had "traditional" marching band instruments, and I was denied access to that kind of stuff because it was "noisy".

How has it turned out so far? I just helped our youngest (12) published his 4th release on Spotify/AppleMusic/iTunes/etc. on Sunday, a 4-song single. He's been composing since he was 9, I provided him all the tools, computer, software he needed. He still takes piano lessons and has done quite a few performances/recitals. The oldest is more into other art now, not so much music, but she's super talented in what she does, she just has more of a flair for design.

"It is what it is", I guess. Maybe chalk it up to us being older parents, I dunno. But we weren't letting the kids get by without some extracurricular efforts, physical and artistic.

Been watching his stuff a lot lately. Great channel. I usually like when there's more talking and personality involved but he puts his videos together so well. I can't imagine how long they take to film and edit.

I'm gonna bug Magnuson about a new 2uz SC.... I mean they just put out a new 5vz SC (their third version) about a year ago. So why not? I still don't get why they didn't intercool that new TVS1320 though.
