I had them installed on another vehicle. They cracked with VERY light contact in below zero conditions. But I would expect most plastic to do the same. Other than that, they did what they're supposed to do.

I have these on my 2014 Tundra. Been in place for a few years now. Have not had any issues with them. They fit into the window channel so nothing to stick onto the door. They do have some adhesive on them to help keep them in.

Was it hard to install the side window vent shade?

My truck came with them from previous owner.
Seem to be holding up good.

I tried two sets on my ‘06 AC. Both fit too tight. One cracked and I tried trimming them down to make the fit better but then both rattled. Removed them and have gone without.

I’m want them cause they deserve a purpose but then again I don’t want them cause I was at a Toyota dealer and the same color truck came in with them and I didn’t l8ke the way it looked. I’m undecided at this point.

Previous owner put them on my truck. I haven't had any issues with them.

I’m quite a fan of my fairly inexpensive AVS “stick on the outside of the window frame” style deflectors.

I probably should have become a fan..... LOL

Weathertech is pretty expensive. Looks like I'm "giving is a shot" at this point.

I've had the AVS side window defectors since 2017 and they are still holding up very well. Would recommend and would purchase again. I'm not going to link because they won't fit your DC, but you get the idea.

I've had the Weathertech in-channel visors on my Tundra for 6 years now. Recently the driver side started rattling in the wind with the windows down. I love how they fit but am disappointed by the noise now. Not sure what caused it, might be the rubber channel they sit in is loosening up after all these years.

I've had WeatherTech in-channel visors on my truck for about 9 years now and have had no problems with them getting loose or making noise. Really like mine... The trick to installing them is to put them on and leave the windows up on them for 24-48 hours.

I'm sorry guys. I've been using the truck in its role as Prime Mower Mover instead of working on it. :p

I do have the Weathertech side defectors though......I'll get around to it eventually.
