What's Up from Pennsylvania. Purchased last week a 2020 Tundra w/42k miles. I've been searching forever for something in Quicksand, as well as a crew cab with jump seat.

I have a laundry list of mods - but thought I'd say, hello, this forum rocks and appreciate all the insight. Look forward to sharing the progress... more on the mods to come.

Thank you! - Thats a great area.

The list is growing but.... (Not like I've had this queued up or anything...)

    Exterior
    -Black Badge Overlays
-Front & Rear Bumpershellz to match paint
-I found a 2017 TRD pro grille in quicksand which is in route (just need to figure out the hood molding as that needs paint.)
--TSS relocation bracket for the model year
-Swap to smoked LED lights (likely the TRD Pros, which seem most cost effective)
    -Go Rhino Steps (slim RB20s)

    Interior
    -Underlay for front heated seats
-I don't even know how the Toyota entertainment system works as I've had the thing for 2 days. so maybe that?

    Suspension/Wheels/Tires
-2.5-3in lift? (arguing with myself that 35s aren't a necessity when driving to the grocery store or picking kids up from school)
-swap to 17in wheels (likely Methods - I dig the more tire look)

Lift wise ballpark was to be in $1500 range so just exploring what's out there.

Any Mod/Improvement ideas are more than welcome.

That's a good list!! That's gonna be one nice truck when you get done!

35s should be doable with just a level. An inexpensive and still decent way to do that is new Bilstein's up front to level it out. 6112/5160s will give you 1.9" or so, and let 35s on Methods slide right in. Example

Welcome! Nice looking ride, hell of a find to get that color in that configuration at that low mileage.

Hit up @memario1214, amazing vendor and he sells all sorts suspension and can definitely help you find options in your budget based on your needs. He also sells Method wheels. He tends to be very competitive in the pricing department and if you start looking around the forum you will see tons of us recommend him due to his customer service (which is amazing). He is Colton over at HotShot Offroad in case you see those references on the forum as well.

Hello Fam - thought I'd give an update on this beautiful journey of build.
(this forum and folks have been amazing + overwhelming with information at the same time)

    Mods so far:
    • Badges blacked -> complete
    • Go Rhino Slimline RB20 -> complete (I have 3 young girls that need a step)
    Beautification:
    • TRD Pro Grille -> (had to cancel order for the color match OEM, as it was 6+ months out on backorder... Went with a generic clone - sitting in the garage and looks the part). -> Waiting to be installed.
    • OEM TRD Pro Black LED headlights -> Waiting to be installed.
    • Ecological Bumpershellz -> color match ordered (takes a few weeks given the direct color) -> pending delivery
    • Figure I will do all the above once the shellz come in.
    Suspension/Lift/Wheels/Tires: (the fun part)
    • Went with the 2in. FOX 2.0 performance series w/rear reservoirs (over at hotshot *was on sale)
    • Also grabbed shims from them (I'm seeing 2 on drivers' side, 1 on passenger for extra .5 lift.)
    • Rear: Coachbuilder +2 Shackle
    • Wheels: Method MR305, 17x8.5, +25 offset (going to clone 2TunGet1)
    • Tires: 315/70/17 BFG KO2s
Let me know if you think I'm missing anything suspension wise? - I am planning to install in the next few weeks.

Welcome from NNY. Gonna look pretty sweet once it's all done up. Quicksand, Cement, and one of the blues I feel like are the 3 colors that cant do the chrome thing at all. Godspeed with color matching/blacking out. You'll likely spend more on that than your suspension lol.

Post some pics when it's "done"
