maybe a thread similar already.... this guy just quoted me 140 for 5% on the 4 side windows. Does this sound reasonable and does anyone have a similar setup?

I feel like I should put the money towards fog lights that actually match my 18 headlights

I think I paid around 200 and that included the sun roof.

I don’t recall the percentage, but it does match the rear and slightly darker now.

Not too bad. I paid $80 to get the fronts to match the factory tint. 3m product. Really happy with it.

Folks will tell you the rears are anywhere from 18%-25%. I had 1 shop tell me my fronts were 12% (he was being a johnny big cock about doing my NY inspection).

I think they match perfect looking from the outside in. I can notice a slight hue difference inside to out if I'm being super picky, but it's not enough for anyone else to notice. And it doesn't bother me.

I paid 160 for all but the windshield. Running 5% on the back 3 and front 2 are 20%. Makes a huge difference living in AZ with the heat.

So doesn’t sound bad, I think I want 18 fog lights first after giving it thought. BTW I’m from OK and going to Phoenix for training at Honeywell for 2 weeks at the end of October. They say it’s a different heat... it’s def not as humid but still hot as hell during my the summer lol!

It’s about to be winter and my main concern is heat reduction. Think I’m going to wait til next spring :transformer:

Now would be the time to do it so they won’t be as busy. At least that’s how it is here

Think I paid 150 for everything except front window. But I got a deal since I did the wife’s Camry too. Think I did 20% on front doors and 5% in the back. Slight difference between the 2 but I didn’t want to go to illegal on the truck. Wife’s car is all 5%. One thing I was told is darker interior will make it look darker inside but a lighter interior will be easier to see thru the tint. I may match the front doors this spring after seeing her car.

    Everything. Literally.
Tint all your windows. Most places can match your factory tints. If not, go somewhere else.
    Don’t pay more than 200.
    That is all.

That's a good price. I paid over $300 for 5% all the way around. Would've been cheaper if they didn't have to remove the factory tint before applying the new film.

I just did mine for $125 for the front two, ceramic 35%. If I went with just regular metallic, they quoted me $80. So $140 for 4 sounds pretty good if they use good film.

I paid $80 just to have the front 2 match the back 2.

How did they remove factory tint? The rear does not have film from factory. Could have been a port tint or dealer but not factory.

That's what he's probably meaning. Mine has the same thing with the front 2 tinted with Llumar tint.

Did you tint the rear slider? I don't think I have ever seen one with defroster that did not bubble. That is on cars.

Yes I had the rear tinted. It's not bad. It has a lifetime warranty so if bubbling occurs, they will redo it. 5% all the way around. The Fiancé hates driving it at night because she feels it's too dark. That's fine by me. fb7819c4c85581195c8595c42c88782a_06a7634d4c3fe3a9b157f7baefb08f2541aced95.jpg9a1c47b7f2f8425fdfe2b0991ee13580_01633eb1f2df51c07584b7c002ce40f957d0efae.jpg

Not sure if you've already seen it but here's a snapshot of the interior from my dash cam with 5% tint. This was on a bright sunny day. Not sure what's up with the purple hue but it's not like that.
