$22k is getting out there. You can find that setup for half that with some patience.

I've been watching the BaT prices for a few years just out of curiosity. Some of the sold listings seem high. But there's a contingent of cheerleaders for every possible vehicle listed, that post in the comments section. It's possible that can cause a higher sold price than that of a non-enthusiast venue. Or not. And folks place a higher premium for 4x4 than I would've imagined.

Here a 2WD truck is a cull that nobody wants. I sure wouldn't own one. In areas that don't have to deal with snow, 2WD trucks have a market. 4WD trucks often get transported out of southern states to the rust belt.

Do Doublecabs sell for a lot more than Access cabs? Seems kinda high to me.

 

In my experience they do. For me personally, having the large cab with a 6.5ft bed is the sweet spot. The production years for the DC was also from 04-06. It took me about 2 years to find a nice DC and I wish I only paid 13k for it.

I was but, I need to stop buying and selling vehicles. Think I have the 06 4runner sold. Ill be putting the DC on BaT. I originally though the size of the DC was perfect but boy did I get that wrong.

Can you please tell me what I did wrong then? I read the rules and feel like I followed them. I posted within a tread as a reply and did not make my own. I included price with OBO, included the location, included my photos with my links. Apart from making my own thread which I cannot because I'm under 50.

I'm confused on what I did wrong here. Instead of attempting to be sneaky and passing it off as "oh look I found this one for sale" I was upfront and honest that it's my vehicle I was including in this thread. Past that I can't tell any difference to previous replies in this tread and my own.

 

This is it right here man. The buy sell and trade availability on this forum is for forum members. Not a craigslist type place. The minimum 50 post count is to ensure it's active, contributing forum members, not just some scammer.

What is the difference between a thread and a reply within a thread?

 

Rules state no items will be listed for sale unless in the marketplace. Also state that you have to have 50 posts to post a for sale. You can't just read the rules and not comprehend that. Unless you don't care, then in which case, there's Craigslist.

 

Ya gotta have 50 posts in order to post anything for sale on the forum. And if you shit post to get there, they will know.
