Power/Inverter Retrofit

    Given that the Tundra‘s w/o Power Package come with the harness installed but w/o the inverter, switch and plugs, has someone done a retrofit?

    Certainly, I could install my own inverter and I might do for more wattage but I’d prefer using the existing harness and OEM plugs rather than running all cables, fuses, etc. myself…

    Was just looking into buying a power inverter. Might wait to see if this option is doable..

    You might end up going that route for multiple reasons…
    400w are not a lot. The OEM solution will limit the output (100w) while driving. I’m not even sure if the OEM is a pure sine inverter.

    I will probably go for a potable power solution (e.g. EcoFlow). I just like the idea of the simplicity of onboard power.

    While the "400W all the time" mod is pretty simple and documented in another thread, the OE inverter is NOT pure sine.
