Clean yes. Overpriced? Also yes.

 

New trucks are even more overpriced and inferior, so he will probably get it.

 

$22k is getting out there. You can find that setup for half that with some patience.

But this also applies to most first gen buyers.

I've been watching the BaT prices for a few years just out of curiosity. Some of the sold listings seem high. But there's a contingent of cheerleaders for every possible vehicle listed, that post in the comments section. It's possible that can cause a higher sold price than that of a non-enthusiast venue. Or not. And folks place a higher premium for 4x4 than I would've imagined.

Here a 2WD truck is a cull that nobody wants. I sure wouldn't own one. In areas that don't have to deal with snow, 2WD trucks have a market. 4WD trucks often get transported out of southern states to the rust belt.
