Got this from James @ Taylor Audio so I thought I'd pass it on to anyone else about to get theirs installed. I have the MyCar/Carlink version and will install it in the next few days.

He's been super hard to get hold of and I haven't heard from him lately. When I last spoke to him, he mentioned he'd been having strokes... :(

This is copied direct from an email he sent me:

    2010 to 2017 tundra instructions:
You will see a White with black stripe wire in the diagram also. This is the key sense wire and you do not need it all unless you have a factory alarm . make sure all connections are made with battery disconnected and before you hook the battery back up remove all connectors from the remote start unit . if you ordered 2 way remotes or the MYCAR option do not program or plug them in until you have the remote start working with the factory key fobs

Make sure when your programming it that you get the correct color lights and be quick with programming as you can time out . If that happens start over. if you do not get the correct the lights on the 2nd try CHECK YOUR WIRING . do not try to install from video only. use video and the wiring diagram together.

    (See attached PDF)

    Video of install

    Carlink programming:

plug in the black plug on the end of the mycar into the small BLUE PORT on the evo module . give it a couple of minutes to cycle through and there should be two lights on the side . next turn the key to RUN OFF RUN and press the brake pedal and release it 4 times. load the app on your phone and set the protocol to fortin. . you will have to set up the app twice as first you will di it in test mode . once you test it and know it works release the vehicle to owner and you will need to set it up again.in the app. now you are done.

on the remote instructions you will not hear the horn honk unless you have the orange and black wire hooked up . if you do not have the orange and black wire hooked up just count to 7 seconds while holding the valet button down and the move to next step of pressing valet 5 times

Good luck with the install. I have the same kit and installed mine years ago, still works like a charm. The install wasn’t bad and pretty straightforward and easy to follow using the pdf and the videos.

Happy to help if you have questions along the way or need me to snap a picture of mine.

I've done 2 of them before. This one will be a little different given it has the app module so I can run things from my phone instead of just the fob. Also, I'll be pulling the dealer installed remote entry off first. Can't seem to find anyone who has had to do that yet.
