Swapping a transmission 2wd (2008 tundra 4.7L)

Hi there, want to know what kind of transmission I can use for my tundra 2008 with 4.7L 2wd? What years of truck can I still used the same transmission? 2007?

 

Pretty much until 2012? Where the 4.7 was dropped for the 4.6...

 

My 2011 Tundra has the 4.6 engine. Did they issue some trucks with and some truck without?

No, I believe you are correct. 07-09 were the only 2nd Gen's with the 4.7.

 

My 2010 has a 4.6 and an A760H trans. I think the 4.7 ended in 2009.

OP look on your VIN plate where it says A/TM
TM = transmission model. Mine is A760H but I think those are 5spd A750E.

H is 4WD, E is 2WD.
