p0136 solved

    Had a CEL with p0136 for the last month or two. Reading suggested faulty sensor or wiring, or an exhaust leak. Been too cold and snowy to investigate.

    Have heard what sounds like a loose heat shield for a week or two - no surprise in the rust belt. Figured I'd address that at the same time.

    Also have heard what sounded like an intermittent exhaust leak (when are those ever intermittent?) I put a CAT-back in this summer, maybe I managed to screw that up? Yeah, that's behind the sensor but who knows:confused:?

    Finally got a nice day, pretty easy diagnosis

    Wonder how many miles it's been, since the last nut left the chat? The sensor was just rattling away up there.
    Chased the threads, new gasket (metallic @$17), nuts and lockwashers. Cleared the code and ran the monitors:thumbsup:
