I fell/slid down the stairs on my back a few Months ago while half asleep with my coffee in hand, and just my socks on going down wooden stairs. My wife heard this giant thud and laughingly asked if I was OK. Yes I proclaimed, didn't spill much. I was sore for like two weeks.

 

There's definitely a couple transition points where falling goes from being no big deal, to a minor ouch event and a bit embarrassing, and finally to a full blown "fuck, I am injured now" scenario.

I remember taking tumbles decades ago and it certainly wasn't pleasant, but I didn't feel broken afterward. Now, I'm to the point that I watch a little kid running around and they trip and land on their knees or full on shit whip/scorpion themselves ,and I flinch because I KNOW that I would need to go to the ER after that kind of a crash.

 

I totally get this. A little over a Month ago when I had the worst flu I've had in a decade, I actually passed out for the first time in my life. Was coughing so hard I got dizzy and went down on my knees to brace myself. Not sure how long I was out, but woke up on the floor and it freaked me out. Never told the wife because I didn't want to worry her.

 

Oh, I bet that is a bit freaky. I've not had it happen, so I don't know.

He's not quite correct. It doesn't meet the safety standards. No side airbags for example. Pretty sure it doesn't even have front airbags.

The guy in the video is pushing a narrative, and though I want them here, his assumptions for the reason are off base and it makes the rest of what he says sound pretty dumb.

 

Yes. I don't do numbers unless it's math for finance, portions for drink recipes and profit margins on sales. Numbers for code, I'm out.
