I'll be waking up the tread soon. I'm told we'll finally be adding Trans Temp to the iDash firmware next week.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. We're adding Trans Temp for 2014-2021. Looks like you have a 2022+. Can you confirm?

Yes, oil pressure is coming. However, it's coming to the iDash Pro. All new PIDs will be added to the iDash Pro as the iDash Classic is maxxed out on PIDs. As soon as all the Toyota PIDs are added to the iDash Pro, I'll be running an upgrade offer in the group. I want to convert everyone over to the iDash Pro. Not only does it have 5X the memory, the screen is higher res and it's Bluetooth connected. So, all updates will come via the mobile app.

    Jay,

I spoke with you last year about my 23' Lexus GX460 and the missing PIDs. Are the Toyota PIDs you mention going to include the PIDs for the Lexus models as well? I'd like to get in on the upgrade offer as soon as it is available if that's the case.

    Thanks!

Funny that you ask. Our engineer is at a Toyota suspension shop today scanning GX's to ensure that we can see all important PIDs. Our goal is to load in the Toyota PIDs to the firmware update this Tuesday. If you'd like to upgrade to an iDash Pro, click here.

Can you confirm the pro will display current gear, convertor lock status in addition to engine oil pressure?

That's great news. I just submitted the form.

The form does state: "Open to 2024-25 Duramax L5P, 2022.5-2025 Duramax LM2/LZ0, and 2014-2025 Tundra owners only"

Do you know if they will make an exception for GX owners, or will I need to wait for them to added to the approved list?

(Nevermind, I just received a call for the upgrade. All is good. I appreciate the help, Jay).

I can confirm the following are displayed on the iDash Pro:
    • Trans Gear
    • Trans Temp
    • Oil Pressure
    • TC status coming

I updated the form just after I posted my reply. Yes, we'll let GX owners in as well.

The more I think about it banks really should go with a CarPlay app for the pedal monster. Instead of using our phones

getting apps blessed onto CarPlay is a challenge? My understanding is the only way Garmin was able to get there button app through was they are pre approved due to other apps.

Is there a updated list of PIDs for 3rd gens?

This link Jay added in the first post no longer works.

    Update:
Found this link on their website.

It still must be possible, just makes sense for this device and interface. Since adjustments are made on the phone.

@ToyFan - Is the Pedal Monster no longer available for the 22+ Tundra?

I did the trade in program to the iDash Pro and all went well but the Trans Gear setting does not show what actual gear you are in. Will that eventually be added?

I installed my iDash Pro that was just delivered today and I love the new look and the bluetooth app. The app doesn't have anything available for transmission. It is all greyed out and not available.

Pics? Did you use their pod? If so, how is the fit/finish?

My pod fits very nice, Banks did send me the second version for free. It's already dark here. I will see if I can get a pic tomorrow.

Yep I did the update and also it pulled new "images" too. Maybe I will see if there is another update tomorrow.

I will also take a new picture of it for you @lapoolboy . There is another picture I took awhile ago earlier in the thread.

All I had to do to get Transmission to show up was select Toyota from the vehicle selection. It was set to “Standard” by default.
