Options for glove box and footwell lighting

    My SR5 didn't come with the bulb for the glovebox. I don't know if any SR5s do but I know higher trim packages have it. There is a clip in location for this on the outside top of the glovebox that you can see if you remove enough trim.

    I installed a VLED footwell lighting kit in my rig and repurposed one of the OEM footwell lights to the glovebox location. It's the same bulb and housing as the footwell ones, I was just missing the bulb installed there. Unfortunately, I didn't have the harness there to plug directly into, so I made my own.

    Here is my writeup for the footwell lighting and for the glovebox light. Hope it helps.
